intro         = 'Once owned by Capt Skip Slomski the following is his description of the boat:<br><br>The boat is a 1978 23 SeaCraft. Powered by a 350/320hp Vortex V-8 with a 1.5-1 Borg Warner reduction gear. Currently turns a 17x17 right handed wheel which gives a cruising speed of 26 knots and a top speed of 32 knots. A gas capacity of 105 gallons gives her a good cruising range. The boat was completely reconditioned by Lou Rambo in Florida. Dark blue Imron exterior hull and white inside. New Console which is hinged on the forward face to tilt forward offering complete access to the motor. After admiring his boat for years, my neighbor after I helped him launch her. He had sold his Suburban and I asked me to help as he wanted her in the water for possible sea trials. We launched into 2-3\'seas and I was immediately impressed with her ride. My coffee cup rode on the console without a splash and before we had her tied at his dock I had bought it. This year I replaced the old 454 she had with the new Vortex motor. Rebuilt the transmission and added a dripless shaft log';
