intro         = 'Bill took his time finding the best boat afloat. It took him roughly one year to find the boat he was looking for, a 1973 SeaCraft 23. For many years, Bill had been searching for a Classic SeaCraft 23 and he finally found it not far from his home in Connecticut. The boat was laying upside down in a backyard. The exterior had already been finished but the previous owner had given up and sold the boat to Bill as is. Here are the pictures of this 23\'s resurrection.';

The gunwales were littered with old screw holes and sloppy attempts to fix them with marine caulk. Bill stripped the panels of their old Marine plywood core and re cored them with new plywood. He used epoxy and glass as a replacement resin solution. This is how he did this.', '', 'All of the deck panel refinished. Notice the large work area Bill has to work with. Although none of what he did was easy, this work area does help a bit with New England\'s wacky weather. The Deck hatches and the remainder of the deck were finished with Petit Polypoxy. The nonskid was added in the priming stage and then 3 finish coats were applied allowing full cure and a light sand in between. The results are flawless and mirror like. Nice Work!!', '', '', 'Look at the shine on the front of the console. Bill was able to keep the original deck Nonskid pattern by carefully taping all of the lines fore and aft.', '', '', '', '', 'Bill\'s son taking the boat out of Old Saybrook Ct. on the way out into Long Island Sound to fish for Stripers and Blues. That is what it is all about !!' );
