The ones we got were about 3 lbs and are treated like live cobras until I can cut the spines off. I lip hold them like a bass and trim the venom spines off and then fillet like any other fish..

Cedar Key Grocery Run

First time I was able to get the ol girl back in the water since my shoulder replacement. Rough on the way out but flattened out in the afternoon. Fish tacos for a few weeks secured!

Here is a previous thread on the subject. Headhunter and his brother in law both have their df140s mounted on the transom. I can attest the performance is amazing with the Suzuki prop....
