I didnt see much of a lip left for enough to tab into. I would wrap 10" or so onto the hull. Like was said make sure you bevel enough so you dont build up a lump with glass on the bottom...

I would match core thickness after beefing up the inner skin. The outer skin being off already means youre glassing and fairing anyhow so build that up as much as you want...

You can use charmin if you put enough glass on it... Do some hammer testing on some pieces of different layups til you feel its adequate. A strip of uni on top never hurt either...

Yea its basically just a nice tight styrofoam, need more glass on it than a “structural foam” would. Something like 4 layers of 17oz should be fine.

Usually i buy the hose by the foot and put the fittings on myself. Most hydraulic shops will have it. Will be a perfect fit too.
