I would say putting a bracket on a 25 is a big mistake due to how weight distributed, deadrise and beam. If it were me I would reconfigure the gunnels and notch the transom for a 30" big single...

The notched hull 28 is much better balanced overall. My only concern with the bracket hull would be hanging heavy 4 strokes on it. Good riding boat though.
