Im not sure where the tank was originally but my gut said put it up there to offset the 1100# of livewell, motor and bracket...

Those prices for divinycell and corecell seem backwards. Corecell is better for heat/impact (better everything really). Dark nonskid could become a worry with heat but no one in their right mind...

50yr old substrate sometimes does weird things when sanded on and painted with a high gloss finish, the light layer of epoxy and cloth just prevents any uglies from coming thru the finish paint later...

Exactly how i did it. Keep the cut perpendicular to chine and its easier to build the jig off of/lay glass etc... Ill start a thread when its further along, gotta do some massaging to get the hull...

I didnt weigh mine either. They always end up a bit heavier than original due to the overbuilding.

I might try a 17, the G1 has a different gear ratio than the G2... I did run a Rebel on the G2...
