Default Does anybody keep 18 seacraft in 2 car garage

Guys,

Gas tank on my 1981 mako which I replaced 15 years ago finally corroded out letting bunch of water to get into my fuel causing all kinds of issues. I temporarily put above
deck 22gal tank so that I can fish hard this summer.

After countless hours of research looking at boats that fit in the garage (parker, whaler, key west, scout, jones brothers, twin vee, etc) and are easy to tow 18 seacraft came out as a top choice for ride and rough water performance.

Any pics of 18 in standard 10x20 garage would be greatly appreciated.

You will need, at minimum, 23' and that's with the motor tilted down. More if the trailer tongue is as long as mine. (I bought a trailer rated for a 21' boat).

uncleboo,

This is what I am confused about looking at boat specs:

mako 17'0" center line length with 7'2" beam
seacraft 18'2" center line length with 7'5" beam

so in theory if I angle it should be able to make it fit since now have about 7 inches of room in my garage. Maybe it depends on how the boat is sitting on the trailer. Had my current trailer custom made where it is actually smaller then the boat and the boat length is a limiting factor for me and not the trailer. You can see that from enclosed picture.

Hoping some how I can make it fit.....

I don't have a garage, but, have a metal shelter that is 20' long. When the boat is under it, the back of the motor, tilted down, is at the back edge of the roof and the bow is barely under the front edge of the roof. If you have the extra width, shouldn't be a problem to angle it and shut the door. Hope this helps.

Trailer with swivel tongue would help also.
